With RoomDial One-Touch Emergency Alerting, every room & mobile station on the property is equipped with a small red emergency button located on the top of the unit. When someone holds down an emergency button momentarily, the entire property is paged with an emergency alert tone, followed by audible annunciation of the room or mobile station in distress. Occupants can answer the emergency call from any station and instantly hear the calling party. By default, the person on the emergency end does not hear any audio until the call is answered, enabling silent alerting when necessary. Once an emergency alert is initiated, it cannot be cancelled by the initiator and must be acknowledged at another station on the property, eliminating false hang-ups.
