NetLink

RoomDial is self-contained by design, meaning its server & stations do not "see" or interact with any other devices on your network, or the public internet, even when RoomDial uses the same wiring & ethernet wall jacks as your home network. This allows smooth & secure operation that works regardless of how much bandwidth is being used on your home network. You may, however, wish to connect your RoomDial system to the internet to take advantage of remote features & functionality.

RoomDial NetLink allows you to securely connect your home's RoomDial system to your home internet connection to unlock several connected features, such as remote room monitor functionality, emergency alerts while away from home and our proprietary CellLines cellular unified communications solution.

NetLink works by attaching the included USB to Ethernet adapter to the RoomDial server, and then attaching an ethernet cable from the adapter to your home internet router. NetLink connections are encrypted and secure, and your RoomDial system remains operational whether NetLink is active or not.

When NetLink is active, only features that require external access will use the connection. Internal voice calls & communication will always stay within your RoomDial self-contained network.
